Punggol Promenade is a 5-kilometre long public waterfront promenade serving as a key pedestrian connector for the future Punggol Waterfront Town.
Environmental improvement works include an arrival plaza next to the existing beach, a water lily pond park, fishing platforms leaning over the water edge and bridge crossings over canals. Application of sustainable building materials such as GRC simulated concrete, laterite and oxidised steel throughout the promenade makes for an environmentally friendly development.

Former Landfill Turned Eco-friendly Wetland
A portion of the old Lorong Halus landfill along the eastern bank of Serangoon Reservoir has been transformed into an educational site and a sanctuary for plants, birds and other wildlife. Using an innovative bio-remediation system, national water agency PUB designed the Lorong Halus Wetland to collect and treat water passing through the former landfill, preventing it from flowing into Serangoon Reservoir.

EAZi Car Lease Pte Ltd SUX!

I was at EAZi Car Lease Pte Ltd on the 8 Oct to collect the car that I have make reservation (Fiat Punto Skydome 3 door).
Upon my arrival at the car mall, the stuff was very nice to attend to me in a short time despite the busy hour.
Once registration was done, the stuff shows me the car; I was totally shock by the dents and scratches of the car(s). The condition was horrible!

I make a call to Amanda to mention about the car condition and requested to make changes. (Knowing from the stuff, Amanda was working home-base, hence, she will not be able to know how the car condition on the car mall.) She was unable to make any arrangement for another car (I’m able to understand her difficulty as it was a weekend), and from her respond, she was rather pissed and insist to refund my money rather than making peace for what happening.

My plan for this weekend have been spoiled because of this issue, meetings have to cancel, dinner have to rearrange etc..

My advice is to ask her to check the car condition (get Amanda to call the stuff at car mall).
Don’t be too happy if the car looks brand new, they may just came back from workshop after all the accident(s). It not accident-free, you make put your love one in danger.

The first day YOG volunteering @ SSS was rather Slack, Shag and Tired. I was not able to catch any/enough sleep the night before, sleep too much during the day time. LOL
Information was not clearly instructed by the higher order to the venue in-charge. The list for the area cleaning and the questionnaire we suppose to ask was not ready. We ended to be involves in food catering transport as well as logistic check list. Slack slack..

But they are of the same size... US 7/8 (or 41/42 EUR), did Brazil have a standard moulding machine to do this?.. How can the size be printed so differently.. I’m sure that this company did not acquire ISO standard. HAHA..

Today we went to The Cathay for movie, the MANAGER almost over charge us for the food! OMG! This is horrible. He was so lucky we are rushing for movie. Otherwise he will be dead Sotong!

This is my dear first time leaving Singapore with my dear, though the plan was very rush, especially his passport only went to collect the day before the trip.

And the sad things is, I fall sick on the 3days and did not manage to bring my dear to KLCC and Chinatown (Jalan Petaling Street).

This year was a Busy Lunar New Year. This because of the 3 in 1 events has to prepare for my dear birthday cum Valentine and my family reunion dinner.

Reunion dinner, this year wasn’t just usual steamboat but BBQ grill at my house, using the grill and stove my sis brought. Healthy oil-less cooking, chicken itself dripping more oil then expected.

On the first day of CNY, I only have to go temple and pray, no visiting on that day,
However, at the late afternoon-evening, I went to check-in the hotel room that I have made reservation for my dear Birthday Cum Valentine just for us to stay and friends to celebrate this occasion. This wasn’t a surprise for him as I did mention about the plan and he also invited his close friends for this event.

What a busy weekend..
Friday I have my dear book out early in the morning from him camp after his guard duty. It just ends of his PTP, and I went to the super market brought the pancake ingredient. But end up he was complaining about my cooking.
We went for a tanning session at the nearby swimming complex and have our lunch at Burger King before he went home and I have my driving lesson.
After which we went for movie at Marine Square, “My Ex’s”. My dear was so petrify..opss.. okay.. No detail… haha

Saturday was a nervous day for me, as it either I am going to drive or otherwise. Yes, it my Traffic Police test day! I would say, I have a easy to pleased TP. And YES, I passed my Driving test and will have my licence card in one month time. I still can drive with that paper I have after my application for my licence. HAHA..
My dad came home so late that I only manage to borrow his car at night. So I drove MY DEAR DEAR and my family to IMM to get some CNY goody. After unpacking all the things, my dear and I went to look for Xiao Pei. Went to ECP for supper at McDonald, before heading back home.

My dear dear seem to be skipping meal after I mention about he is gaining weight. Please do not skip your meal dear.

Dear dear you need to know how to read map soon okay, I will need your direction support. LOL

The days to CNY cum … cum … are just 4 weeks from now. Haven’t really thinks of what to buy, other than our SHOES. Yes, we finally brought this pair of shoes after one week of searching for nice shoes and another week for price before thinking of size. Event thought can’t get the one which in dear mind at first, nevertheless what we brought was still gorgeous. It was a significant milestone for him.

A long waiting two weeks for my dear first book out for this x’Mas had been a tough period for both of us. He had been put in a situation that physical training was in demand for his PTP; extreme endurance and resilient is really a challenges for a boy to become a man in near future.

Most of my night was really sleepless, just keep on missing him. (Guess it will be the same before he is able to book out this Thursday again)

Since Thursday morning, I get up from my bed and start to prepare all the necessary surprise I planned. Roses. I got only 6 stalks of rose and luckily it was just enough for my design in mind. But somehow, I put the roses in my fridge for too long, some have started to decolourise. (Is this the proper way to store them?)

Anyway, this how it’s look like.. Phase I

On the x’Mas day itself, we wake up early for breakfast @ KFC. Dear had Twister Meal (Original Recipe) and I had Platter Meal.

After which, we took a bus to Orchard and watch Aavatar and had lunch @ Pasta de Waraku.

Went to his house, take obligatory document to change his IC address and we have a shopping spree @ Ikea and Giant Tampines.

I had the most enjoyable Christmas in my life over the short weekend.

Time really fly, it’s Saturday. ~~We planned to go tanning in the day but weather doesn’t seem on our side.~~
In the end we went to army market to buy his orange cloth and change his address at the nearby police post.
Heading down to town, wanted to watch Alvin and Chipmunks but the slot available was kana late.

No movie.. we had DC donut as replacement.. Hearts delight double chocolate! Sinful too!

First time stay at botanic garden till the light is off at 12mn. My baby having good time resting in the cooling place and we enjoy the star glazing before we heading home.

It was awaking experience in Siloso Beach Resort by the amazing greenery that makes it to be eco friendly.
However, the room (roof garden suites) bathtub with jacuzzi don’t seem appealing. It was so small. But rejuvenate sea view and sea wind was great enjoyment.
The car park and facilities (such as gym) was limited.
There is more disappointment to see such a nice eco hotel with so many things can be improves.

This my first time really go run for a 10km race…
Throughout the 10km, I didn't really stop (slow walk to dehydrate after experiencing pouring water on my own @ 4km pit) and push on all the way. Every kilometre signage is something truly I been looking forward to.
I manage to reached Padang one mins before the first hour mark. Clap.Clap.

It a chaotic chore yesterday when out of the blue I got flu in the afternoon when I did not turn on my air-conditional.

It a dilemma should I take the move to see the doctor?
With the current ‘virus’ is spreading in my school. It makes me ponder about “H1N1 influenza A swine flu”?
Reading the web set up by the H1N1 team, I see no major symptoms from my regular flu.

Since school say, RP is safe; I trust the school and just believe it was just regular flu for me. Anyway my skin doesn’t turned bright pink nor do I start oinking uncontrollably.

Stay away for a week, Polytechnic tells 4,500 - REPUBLIC POLY acts to stop H1N1 spreading after NINE students fall sick.

ALL first-year students and several staff members of Republic Polytechnic have been told to stay away for seven days from today, after nine cases of H1N1 were confirmed there.

The move affects 4,500 students and 16 teachers and makes the polytechnic the first to adopt Ministry of Education measures aimed at preventing mass local transmission of the flu virus.

As a RP student, I personally think it was unfair when Year ONE (only) get to have one week "off" and not the rest of the school when they are doing the "cleaning" in school. I just have to highlight it’s not about the OFF we get. But is how RP treat this case!

As RP is fully air-conditional environmental, this would mean... the virus can spread easily within the whole campus, so why is ONLY the yr 1 are guarantee with their OFF and not the others’? You mean our immune system is practically stronger because we are ONE year older than them?

Yes, you may argue that the virus (H1N1) only start spread with year one. But, so what about facilitators who are facilitating those “infected” classes who office is located at other blocks? Won’t this mean the possibilities of spreading to other facilitators and hence, to the student's?

Anyway... I get off for RJ today.. so..
But who know RJ may resume bec it wasn't publish...

We went to this place last week, but it was close in the morning.

We are back this time for dinner!

The menu is something really testing your understanding. It was all written in Italian language with English for the ingredient. It has a wide variety of pasta type to choose, from Farfalle, Rigatoni, Fusilli, Spaghetti, Linguine etc. It just has too many types for you to know.

They don’t have the Alphabets pasta that we kids like it. =X

When come to pasta, I love to eat creamy sauce as the based sauce. Penne Funghi Bosco (Penne = the pasta type, Funghi Bosco = mushrooms from the woods). First time tried Penne, not sure is it not well cooked or it just to be too thick. LOL.. Spaghetti or Linguine the usual I will order.
Dear was having. Pizza Donna Carmela, it their “chief recommended”, with raw ham, cheese vegetable. RAW HAM… dar don’t take that.. =X end up pack back for his cousin.

We went to cine after drop the pizza, and MOVIE; The Uninvited. As the show start at 1125 and hours before the show, we went to Häangen Dazs @ Centrepoint.

The new school term

Class was as predictable, all never start to be interactive, all shy shy like me. LOL

The new time slot really going to kill me. I almost have no time for my breakfast-lunch.
School start at 915 and we have an hour lesson till 1015 before we have STUDY TIME for 45 minutes!
Second meeting starts from 11pm till 12 noon and we have another STUDY TIME for 1hours 45 minutes which is 45mintues shorter than last year and why they want to change it to STUDY TIME! It sounds like we NEED TO STUDY, NO BREAK FOR YOU STUDENT.
So meeting three start at 1.45pm and class end early than usual.

Form today experience I only manage to sneak out my class after 1245pm. And I just have a super quick lunch and rush back to do my PPT – scribe bad experience.
Queuing in the school to buy food also took so much longer than before. I think the school needs TWO to THREE more canteens to cater for the student in RP. Subway is coming our way but… guess people like me will never want to queue and wait + it so far away from my block.

I thinking I will be going for a spree in the supermarket and buy daily “diet” meal to school. So I won’t skip meal which I don’t want to happen to me. LOL

~~I hate school.. hmm maybe..~~

I went for a run after I done my RJ and quiz. Time was a minutes faster. Ops.. I did not go running for like close to two months? and I’m so happy I maintain this standard hehe.

No more complaint.. I got new classmates to know tomorrow again. arHH..

We start our course with Tom Yam, a cuisine that must have when eating thai food. It was spicy and hot as well as tasty. Next up was their Gang Daeng (Green Curry Chicken). It was rare to find Green Curry, maybe just for us. =D We also have Olive rice and marinated roosted chicken. Milk ice-lemon-tea?

Heavy down pour in the early morning, which I intend to go tanning before going to Downtown. I end up travelling the long-standing journey with my ipod which is lack of new songs.
I just get more and more frustrated in the train system. It just never once the cabin was empty anymore. ArHh~!

So I have to make the way from CCK to Tampines, to collect the cake. Cookies Delight =S (but.. it was the wrong cake..).. and from Tampines to Pasir Ris, it just one stop. How I was CCK to Tamp it just like that. (o.o)”

Check in the chalet… haha.. and I realise it was the same block, same unit for my last chalet with my semester one classmate. I just stop reminding what happen! Lol.
Anyway, they renovated some part of the room. It look wired to be.. Suddenly some looks so fashionable and some so.. ermm.. CMI.

Peers and food start to come in…

The first fire we start burning at 1800+ hour. However, after burning for some time, we smell some toxic poisons gas. We end up putting out the blaze flame.

While waiting for that to cool down, we use the other tray to start the fire on the tile flooring just right outside the chalet. When about the flame is up, advisors start coming in… But no food are ready. Lucky Carine cooked some fried beehoon, if not…

As there too many people to server, and too little space to BBQ the food, we start the second tray.

Surprise come… a Birthday cake for the dearest HQ.. The unable-to-blow-off candle, the pick Mickey Mouse light stick.. It just looks so BIMBOO ya. =D

After the celebration.. back to normal.. BBQ…

This happens so suddenly… A Explosion from the BBQ. At first we thought it was the charcoal.. too hot or what (but never it happen b4)… So we try moving to another corner… The floor tiles was cracked! Luck no one injured.

This tiles cost us $30. =X
It so expensive when they just going to layer it with some cement!

I can’t believe it! We end up at Springleaf.

The interior of shop was appealing, this always true when people always judge things by it first appearance.

This was the menu for our dinner we order…

Waiting time wasn’t that bad.

Liver was so bloody. Scary!

Fried Prawn with Cereal was out without peeling off the shell. As we ask to peel off, we ask to change for us. When the new one arrive, at the same time, new guest seat beside our table, we enlighten they craving by our prawn dish. So, for sure they order that. What was surprising was.. their order come in short 3 minutes. So our mind was… we reject, they serve them.

Overall, the dish was not appealing then the interior. The only food we give credit was Fried Prawn with Cereal but it never the best I like.

After eating, we went to Tampanies1. Just have some walk.

It like…. So long since the last time I was having dinner outside with my mum and sister.
My mum was on “leave” today. We take bus to Jurong West Sport Complex for lunch buffet – Sakura.

We drop by at Jurong Point from Pionner MRT station, it was to look for my mum bag. But she ended up buying shoes.

Today is the First.. so what is tomorrow? Peace stay in mind, without second reminder.

Candle light dinner at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore - One-Ninety, five-course organic menu.

Indulge in Esplanade Park for the carnival from 5pm, before counting down to the city of darkness from the CBD to the Singapore iconic (Singapore Flyer and Merlion).

Shopping in busy Orchard Road at Wisma Atria, look out for the sudden change from façade lights to minimal lights for 60 minutes, and Star Gazing and performance as part of the line up.

I had been giving my eye power more for in the loan laptop then for the mosaic.
The completion of the mosaic is successful end yesterday and today just has to do some cleaning up of the place.

Andy and me took a train from Woodland down to Dhoby Ghaut MRT but I have to meet my friend at Yishun first, before walking to The Cathay.

On our way, it just so surprise to see that two guys at town. I just can’t stop thinking about this! Question is really popping in my mind. LOL

Any way we caught a movie, My Bloody Valentine 3-d.The movie makes me feel giddy and feel like vomiting. Lol. Lucky I did not throw out like a Merlion.

Why so many people have their 4 to 5 days same class and I have 4 different classes in 5 days week.
5 days, I only know FOUR people. When come to UT, I sure dying of changing class room and soon will be more fogetful. Furthermore my classes are all in far west, W5!
I can’t skip class now (even I did not do that in the pass) it just going to be so shit in day one when I know nobody!

There are so many foreigners in my mathematic class, almost all. I sure die this semester!
